Have not noticed it, but both turned out to be defective in a similar way - part of the inseam under both arms seem to be missing. Thin enough to cause major embarrassment on gifting this sweater. Labelled as washable but ironically, too fragile to even attempt to wash. Who has time to maintain an out-of-box fragile sweater for decades? I immediately took out the return label to get rid of the purchase. Waste of my time and effort.
