I have slightly broader shoulders than hips, a 34D chest and muscular arms (not crazy but not toothpick thin) and I found it ran tighter in the chest than I would prefer in my usual size so I sized up. I am 5’9”, 145 lbs, lean athletic build and typically wear a 4/6 but preferred the fit of the 8 for this shirt solely so there was no tension on the buttons across the boobs. This is not an uncommon issue for me - shirts and dresses will fit great everywhere until I get to my chest and then I need to size up. Sometimes, particularly with dresses, I’ll then tailor the bottom half so it’s not too big but this looks really nice as is. Great length for tucking in and still laying smooth. These shirts are fantastic classics for wearing with jeans, which I do all the time.
