I spend one third of my life sleeping, and I want to respect that time. I try to slowly lead up to bedtime by doing relaxing things and avoiding "blue light", such as computers, electronic devices and television. I'm usually reading in bed or listening to music an hour before sleep time. My sleep clothes reflect this philosophy. For this reason, I love my new embroidered cotton nightgown, not only for its beauty but for its calming effect on my psyche.
