Add a tank or tee underneath, or wear as a V-neck. The leather buckle on the side adds a nice contrast and slightly cinches the waist. These sweaters do run on the larger side so I suggest sizing down, especially if you like more of a fitted feel. For reference, I normally wear a L but the S fit me much better.
