I have shopped in stores in Chicago, New York, Dallas, and Tokyo and the quality is always top notch. The customer experience is even classier. Across the board. This was my first and last online shopping experience with Ralph Lauren. If I am paying a premium for a product, in this case a monogramed, cashmere item with gift wrapping - I expect a premium product in return. What I received was a cardboard box with a huge glued on sticker "MADE IN VIETNAM", no premium holiday gift packaging and a cashmere blanket with what could only be described as abysmal monogramming, pilling, stitching coming undone, wrong requested color, just to name a few of the issues. Even if I wanted to repackage this into nice packaging the stick made this effectively impossible without the product inside appearing "cheap." What particularly irked me, is when I reached out to customer support there was 0 effort to come to a solution other than for me to return the item for an exchange and wait then send this again (on my dime) to my friend in NYC. This was intended as a baby shower gift I was going to take to Milwaukee. I offered to return the product same day and asked if the Chicago store has monogram services and if my sister could pick up a remedy item the following day on Michigan Ave and drive the gift to the baby shower (which frankly as a customer of a luxury brand is generous) and that was "not possible." I asked if the NYC store could remedy the issue and have my pregnant best friend pick up the remedy gift and was told that was not possible. I will not be purchasing anything from Ralph Lauren online ever again, and I will highly dissuade others from doing so.
