I had ordered the size large for my son as RL large is what fits him best. I sent the large back and ordered size medium. The fit is perfect. My son liked the turtleneck so much, we ordered two more.

However, I washed this garment twice under delicate settings and the stitching on the back under the collar has come apart. There are now two small visible holes. I will not be purchasing from Ralph Lauren again.
