Having never used a "comforter" before, I'm still adjusting to a one-piece blanket and spread combo. It is well made and very warm; it does best at lower room temps (60sF). Its two-sided construction provides soil-hiding on a bed that gets day-time sitting and parcel resting (but no more dog traffic). This dark blue/floral-patterened piece is a perfect color complement to my antique Bidjar rug. The one thing that bothers me is that it does not appear "tailored" once the bed is "well-made."
