I have since washed it twice and surprisingly has held up with minimal fluff needed. The fill didn't break a part however, it barely fit in my washer. I thought my washer was deep lol this proved me wrong. If you have a king and have an extra large capacity washer, this will fit perfectly. Even if you must launder elsewhere this comforter will give back to you in ways that it will be worth it! As soon as it arrived I washed it ! I saw the instructions and followed accordingly. It was easy to wash and dry in my large capacity washer and dryer. I am so impressed with the floral designs. It suits my bedroom and love the cotton fabric of the comforter and the shams. Cotton is what I always prefer since that doesn’t heat me up in the middle of the night. The comforter has the polyester filling and after washing it i had to set it up a bit to make it even apart from that it’s just amazing. Very good quality. Super comfortable in the night.
