Having a few of the other pieces of deskware in Hunter Green, I figured this last piece would close out my collection, (minus a wastebasket, but I don't know if that ever came in green). Well anyway, this blotter IS sturdy and the leather is tightly fitted on what I believe is wood, and stitched really nicely! I got the small version because my desk is small. (Would have been great if this came with the top that can lift up like the large ones). When I took this item out of the box, the packaging it came in was really good, wrapped with a mesh netting and bubble wrap, then wrapped again with cardboard like material as another barrier against damage.
