Everything about this hat is spot on. The materials are lightweight and sturdy and keeping the six panel design with the cotton strapping in back as apposed to the leather band is preferable for me. I have many of the cotton hats sit higher on the head and that have the leather strap and while they are nice, this construction is much better for me. The generous crown is still soft but reaches farther down on the head to provide better coverage and because the bill /brim is not bent or curved, it provides great looks and comfort with the softer crown construction used here. If RL continues offering this soft , 6 panel design with the cotton strap back and flatter brim I will be purchasing many more hats of this style.Date published: 2026-08-09
