However, it got a tear near where the pocket is sewn to the shirt only after three wears. My review is really around how poorly the Ralph Lauren customer service team handled my ask to replace the shirt. Since I purchase it in Canada while travelling I could not simply return it there. I was asked to send the shirt to their quality department at my own cost and they would get back to me in 6-8 wees. How crazy is that. My family buys thousands of dollars worth of Polo RL merchandise a year and this is the only time in my life I have had to make a return request back to the manufacturer. Despite multiple e-mails, this was their best response. I was fine just getting a replacement - I did not want my money back - as I loved the look and feel of the shirt. So this review unfortunately is tainted by the extremely poor customer service resolution. In the future I recommend buying Polo RL at a retailer who will easily take back a defective product like I had and simply get a credit from the manufacturer.Date published: 2026-08-13
