You can also feel the fabric more and it’s soft. You can also have this in delicates (no heat) dryer and it will still be okay from my experience whereas the low thread count shrunk like crazy. I go to concerts/dances a lot and I’ll wear the low thread count while being dry. I think the product is actually the "Slub Linen Shirt." This is more "Moderately Textured" than "Slub." I can go with a medium or a large in the horse-embroidered linen shirts. It's definitely slimmer than the horse embroidered shirts but the spread collar with no button downs is more formal and lends itself to a slimmer fit. I guess I'm a chip and a half away from a large. If you're a chip and a half away from a large, get the medium and do some sit-ups. I'm doing an exchange for a medium. Basically, does everyone acknowledge that medium shirt is tight or just you? I bought a couple of shirts with the horse too. These are much better. Thicker material (the mainline mainline ones are almost gauzy. This isn't. My fabric texture is also kinda irregular and slubby. Looks less slubby now from the pics.) A touch slimmer (I don't know if its slimmer or if the material just has more body. Both say Classic Fit) If you're normally one chip from a large. Get a large. Saks had cooler colors than the horse-embroidered ones. No logo. Clothes with the old-style label are definitely better quality. Pre-Purple Label if you will. I ordered it in size XS, wich fits more like a slim-fit small, which actually works well if you prefer a slightly tailored look. The fabric is fresh, lightweight, and genuinely nice quality. However, I’m not convinced about the color. It’s described as deckwash, wich is beige with some irregular white patches that make it look unevenly stained or bleach at some spots. Because of that, the overall appearance isn’t as clean or polished as I expected. Light and airy, these shirts will be called upon all Summer and even Spring season long. What I love especially of this design is that the color of the buttons match the color of the shirt (ie: the black linen shirt has black linen buttons) which is special because many other designs have these cheap looking plastic white buttons which make the garments less elegant (and basically looking like every other linen shirt out there). THIS one from Ralph Lauren however is oozing with swagger. Pant it with a suit, unlined sport coat/blazer of with a matching short or Lateef Pants.
