Lightweight Twill Trench Coat is rated out of 5 by 1.Rated 5 out of 5 by Tilt Wrench Cat from Details and Fit I like the collar buckle and that the belt has d-rings (2 of them back-side). The collar strap does not attach back-ways with the size I can reference without the collar gathering into a crumple. I wonder if the buckle is further forward to be easier to use than if it were placed to attach front or back ways. If not in use, the neck strap hangs forward. Some similar trench coats have collar strap buttons (2 front and 2 back, I think) and buckle collar details. Some trench coats have more d-rings - 4 on some of them, I think. I got a bigger size so the sleeves can cover my hands and be protected from wind, cold air, and rain, however with a coat worn beneath, those long sleeves can become several inches shorter. Height ~6' and have been wearing clothes that sometimes range from XS to 5XL, short, tall, and long sizes but for this I ordered a size 52. I am glad I ordered a bigger size and the shoulders still look fine, in my opinion, not too wide. The collar color matches on both upper and under sides. Long raglan sleeves. I wonder what the buttons are made of. Interior plaid is a classic Gordon plaid, I think. Big pockets. Button tab in the interior front to close the lower region. Feels light to wear. After worn in the rain several times, cared for casually, not hung on a shaped hanger, and not avoiding creasing or wrinkles; some water repellency seems to have diminished and some of the areas that crease more have started taking in water, looking dark when wet, though, I've not gotten soggy yet. Umbrella, maybe? How about a matching lightweight clip-on bag for the belt d-rings? And a big matching attachable hood, ~ a size that may be big enough to wear loose over a bucket hat. Ooh, two more eyelets per wrist strap, too please. (5 holes/3?) I think this trench coat is great and wonder about the stuff I wrote about above. Thank you.Date published: 2025-11-20
