My only caution is the sizing: at 6'4" and 185 lbs, I typically wear a 44L in tailored clothing, but this coat fit more like a 46L and needed to be exchanged. So I decided to purchase my own in the correct size because I absolutely love the polo coat but the sleeve length annoyed me. Anyway, fast forward to getting the new one and I felt like I was sold a fake knockoff. Needless to say I was completely underwhelmed by everything. 1. Camel hair color is not at all as dark as it should be. 2. Camel hair quality in general was basic and very shaggy. 3. The main lining is some basic blend of cotton and viscose but the sleeves are 100% viscose. The lining should be 100% viscose so the weight and drape are not at all right compared to the older coat. 4. Finally the biggest issue....it's a full 3-4 inches shorter in overall length and looks weird compared to the older coat. An authentic polo coat should fall past the entire knee and rest somewhere on your shins. The new 42L Polo Coat I received just barely made it past the bottom edge of my knees. I understand that when they eventually release the purple label version this season it'll be insanely more expensive but I think that is the only way you can get a brand new truly authentic OG Polo Camel Hair Coat these days.
