They are traditional fit that is in between a slim fit and a relaxed fit...an "average" fit for guys in the 170 to 190 pound range. I am 5'10" and 180 pounds. The 33/32 size were a bit loose in the hips and upper thighs. I washed them and then dried them on high heat. They now fit in the hips and thighs but are now a half inch too short.
