I bought one pair and liked the way it looked/fit so much, I bought another. Yet BOTH pairs ripped almost immediately (one in the crotch, the other on the seat). I contacted RL when the first pair ripped—customer service was excellent, hence the extra star—and was sent a free replacement pair, but then the second pair I bought ripped THE FIRST TIME I WORE them while sitting on a couch at a child’s birthday party. Now to top it all off, the third (replacement) pair ripped on the crotch. For those counting at home, that’s three pairs of chinos that ripped after wearing some 1-3 times. It’s not like I’m working out in them, they didn’t get caught in anything, and they weren’t tight at all. This is just poorly made fabric, I guess, which is a shame because they looked awesome when first worn—only to end up with me conspicuously crossing my legs through an entire birthday party so people don’t see my boxers.Date published: 2022-02-13
