These are a classic style that dress up or down with ease. I'm an older guy and my 'slim fit' days are behind me but thankfully Ralph Lauren offers these in a wide variety of sizes. For me, 35"x30" is perfect and they are comfortable and I'm 5' 8" and ~165#.
