Over the decades, Ralph Lauren has reimagined his signature style in a wide array of colors and fits, yet all retain the quality and attention to detail of the initial icon. Treated for a timeworn look, this unisex version is cut in our Original Fit, which is slightly more relaxed at the shoulder than our Classic Fit and has a longer back length.

Details- The fit of this unisex style is based on our standard men's sizing. We suggest that customers who usually order Polo Ralph Lauren women's clothing order one size smaller than their usual size.
- For example, if you usually order a women's large, we suggest ordering a size medium when purchasing this style.
- Original Fit: Slightly more relaxed at the shoulder than our Classic Fit and with a longer back length.
- Size medium has a 28.5" front body length, a 30.5" back body length, a 19" shoulder, and a 44" chest.
- Ribbed Polo collar. Two-button placket. Short sleeves with ribbed armbands. Tennis tail.
- Signature embroidered Pony at the left chest.
- 100% cotton. Machine washable. Imported.
- Due to the natural characteristics of this material, the coloring may rub off onto fabrics and upholstery.

With that said, I was transported back to the late 1970s and early 1980s with the traditional fit and thick cotton mesh I remember in Polo shirts. But two of the shirts have not held up. The College Green (3 months old) has a hole next to where the placard is sewn. I also spilled olive oil on one of the reds and soaked the spot with a famous gentle grease-removing dish detergent that is safe for baby ducks…and when I washed the shirt, the dye was washed away and I have two white spots where the olive oil used to be. I always wash these shirts in cold water, gentle cycle; and NEVER wash them with other clothes (no jeans, no zippers, nothing heavy or harsh). I have used dish soap to remove food/olive oil stains successfully in much cheaper garments. I love my Polo shirts but at $168 per item, they are trash.
