PRL x Naiomi Glasses Mesh Polo Shirt

Presenting part two of the Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses collection, the inaugural collaboration of the Ralph Lauren Artist in Residence program, reflecting our evolved design approach with the artisans and communities that inspire us. The Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses collection honors Navajo heritage and centuries-old weaving traditions. Naiomi Glasses is a seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) textile artist and designer whose work reflects the beauty of her Indigenous culture. Mirroring her personal weaving journey, the collection transitions from earthy, neutral hues to a crescendo of bright colors in this second drop, additionally influenced by her love of skateboarding. Along with our signature Pony, Naiomi’s take on our iconic unisex Polo shirt features a concho button, custom wedge weave–patterned trim, and four-directional cross embroidery. The four-directional cross and the number four carry great significance in Navajo tradition, as well as in other Native communities. They reference the Earth’s four directions and the stars.
