The medium does have a good size to it, and this garment certainly does not run small. The material is very durable and as all my Ralph’s, they will last a long life and improve with age. The drawstring is optimal length and styled with the same material as the pants. They seem to run an average length, as I’m 5’11 and a medium is perfect, and I don’t have to hem them or roll them up. I bought a large as well to try, but at 195 they were too roomy for me in that size. I was running low on pajamas, and when I did a search one random evening at RL, this amazing plaid print pattern appeared. For me, I was especially pleased as the pattern is the same from a pair of madras golf pants Ralph designed, that I owned around 2015–a special pair that were now lost to me for some unknown reason, as some garments do have a way of taking a walk on you. In some ways I feel as though I have my old golf pants back; I just happen to wear them before bed now instead of the links. It is time to continue the hunt for quality lightweight PJ pants. They also become extremely wrinkled in the dryer. I’ll be hanging them to dry going forward.
