Though we love the jacket and the madras plaid, it took four tries to get one that fit! My husband is very slim and fairly tall and usually wears a medium or in more finely tailored style, a 40 or 41. We ended up with a size 44 in this blazer. Size 38, 40 and 42 were skin tight. Beyond softly tailored and he likes a tailored jacket. We are keeping the jacket as we always love Ralph and his clothes, however, the sizing is way off. It’s unlined except for the sleeves and had a very nice unstructured fit. The soft tailored fit really is the sweet spot for me.
