Polo Tailored Plaid Tweed Sport Coat

Our Polo sport coat features more structure in the chest and shoulders along with a full lining. This velvet-collar version draws inspiration from equestrian hacking jackets, which feature slanted flap pockets to help prevent belongings from falling out while riding and a single vent at the back to better conform to the rider’s position. To create its tartan-inspired tweed, Irish wool yarn was spun, dyed, and specially woven by Ireland’s Magee 1866 mill, which has been a Ralph Lauren partner for more than 50 years.
