Created to mark the 50th anniversary of Ralph Lauren, the RL67 jacket draws inspiration from a herringbone sport coat that has been a treasured part of Mr. Lauren’s wardrobe since 1971. This unisex reinterpretation is crafted in Italy with a black-and-white wool tweed that was custom-developed with a storied Irish mill.

- Size 40R has a 30.75" front body length, a 30" back body length, and a 19" shoulder.

I am by no means a bodybuilder, and I mountain bike and XC ski. I had worn size 42 suits from Ralph Lauren for years until I started adding some muscle recently. Now, I am in a grey area between sizing in a lot of RL clothing. In some styles I can wear a large, in others an XL, but in the RL67 a 44R is a too-pefect fit that barely allows for a button-down oxford shirt, and is snug around my arms. The 46R dimples at the end of the shoulders and has a terrible fit at the collar and down the shoulder line. If I were 25 pounds lighter, this jacket might work.
