This reinterpretation is tailored from herringbone fabric that is exclusively woven for Polo Ralph Lauren using linen, mulberry silk, and fine wool.

- Size 40R has a 30" front body length, a 29.5" back body length, an 18.5" shoulder, and a 17.5" sleeve inseam.
- Notch lapels. Buttoned throat latch. Buttonhole at the left lapel. Suede undercollar. Two-button silhouette.
- Cuffs with four decorative buttons.
- Left chest welt pocket. Two front waist flapped pockets. Two interior chest pockets. Interior right waist pocket.

This one is the best fitting among them. It is form-fitting, but not constricting. I'm 5'10" 175 lbs. for reference. The fabric is hearty and the quality is tangible. I love the wider lapels. They look very masculine and enhance the silhouette. The main reason I wanted to leave a review was to impart some product information to prospective purchasers which I wish appeared on the Ralph Lauren website. The website says the sport coat is a linen, silk, and wool blend without listing the ratios of these materials. Many of RL's other products list ratios, but not this jacket. The jacket's tag lists 63% linen, 24% silk, and 13% wool, in case you are interested. The RL website says this jacket is made either in the USA or in Italy. My particular jacket was made in Italy. Finally, the website says this jacket has a suede undercollar. This is untrue. The tag on my jacket says the undercollar is 50% linen, 43% wool, and 7% viscose. Basically a felt undercollar. I was tempted to give this jacket 4 stars due to the suede collar product misrepresentation on RL's website, but this jacket is amazing. I personally do not mind having a felt undercollar versus suede, but product information should be accurate and not lacking in detail, especially for high-priced clothing items purchased sight unseen from a website.Date published: 2023-04-27
