I like that the trunks color is solid and classic without a loud and huge pattern. The fit of the trunks is good. I feel like they are true to size. They stay up well but still have a drawstring if they should need to be tightened some . The trunks have some stretch and give to them which definitely helps with comfort and moving around while swimming. While these trunks do have a liner I feel it is a brief liner that is more modern than others. While the liner is a brief around the backside, at the front it actually ends and has a functional Velcro fly, if you choose to use it, that stays securely closed. I also like that Polo is trying to be environmentally conscious. The trunks and liner of the trunks are made out of recycled polyester to help reduce production of new petroleum based materials. They have a velcro "zipper" and a velcro attachment at the waist in addition to the string tie. The trunks feel secure when wet and coming in and out of the pool. The color is nice and they wash well in the machine. I haven't noticed any shrinkage in the machine either (usually hang them to dry). After getting out of the pool and sitting in the sun, it takes about 3-5 minutes to dry off good enough to walk inside without dripping everywhere. The trunks have a velcro closure on the fly and waistband and also a string tie for security that also looks nice. The suit is lined with netting to keep your boys in place. There is a key pocket on the inside and also a velcro tabbed pocket on the right leg. I have a 30 inch waist and got the small size and it fits perfectly. There is plenty of room for movement and the waist fits perfectly, not too tight. The leg ends just above the knee. There is also an elastic band in the back of the waist.
