RL actually sent me the Snuff color, which is nott currently offered online, but I like it better than the New Pale Russet - so I kept them. RL’s lucky mistake, maybe. The suede upper and double oaked soles give an easy “dress casual” look that is versatile and sophisticated. There is some break-in time with the double oak sole, as expected, but the uppers actually feel pretty good out of the box. Size Note: Booth runs about a half size short and a half to full size wide. If you can make the fit work, and these are your style, buy them. For any who remember the AE Acheson, these look similar but these have slightly lower volume toe and a bit shorter with wider heel; I size down, esp bc I have narrow feet. My normal size wouldn’t stay on my feet, they slipped off in the heel. So I got a half size down and the heel doesn’t slip but the toe is very crowded. It’s a shoe that I will wear to Church or an event I can sit and get off my feet; somewhere there’s not a lot of walking, but this isn’t a shoe you wanna take a long walk in or dance. I’m hoping after they are broken in they’ll be more comfortable. The exchange process was remarkable easy and pleasant. Beautiful shoe, buy it.Date published: 2023-12-13
