They have the cardboard and paper inserts. When traveling I use the cardboard insert to keep them looking new also when I pack them away for the cold months. They wore kind of large to me when barefooted. I wore them a few time in Montego Bay and they were comfortable for moderate walking. I didn’t walk more than a mile but I think they would have still been fine. Easy to clean! I accidentally dropped my cigar ashes on them while on the boat and was happy to be able to rinse them off with no effort in the ocean. They do the job!
