Since I purchased the same item previously, I didn't hesitate to unpack and cold wash them, I always dry my Ralph Lauren clothes on a clothes rack never a dryer. To my surprise, when I put a pair on to wear, my 11.5 size feet would not fit in the socks. I pulled out a pair of socks I previously ordered, and was shocked to see this pair, and the others are 3 inches shorter in the feet. Over the ankles they were the same length. Since I washed them, I knew I couldn't return them, so I ended up donating them to a homeless shelter.
