Details- Slim fit. Intended to hit at the hip.
- Size medium has a 25.5" body length and a 32.5" sleeve length. Body length and sleeve length are taken from the center back of the neck. Sleeve length changes 0.75" between sizes.
- Notch lapels. Two-button silhouette.
- Long sleeves with four-button cuffs. Left chest patch pocket. Two front waist patch pockets. Metal buttons custom-developed with a Lauren Ralph Lauren crest. Bullion "LRL" patch embroidered at the left chest. Fully lined.
- Shell: 98% cotton, 2% elastane. Lining: 94% polyester, 6% elastane.

I normally wear a 1x in their blazers. This jacket I have to order in a 3x in order to fit, yet (as in all RL jackets), the sleeves are ALWYS way too long, the shoulder pads are flimsy, and the jacket length should be at the lower hip. I hope the designers at RL make thse changes because I still really like the jacket. This blazer was acquired with the expectation of a structured, premium aesthetic; however, the physical product feels underwhelming. The construction lacks the architectural rigor and internal support necessary for a blazer of this style. The buttons have a very light gold coating when pinned resembles "plastic" rather than metal. The bullion detailing and jacquard weave appear simplistic and lack the visual depth or "heft" associated with high-quality tailoring. For a brand that prides itself on an iconic American aesthetic, this specific item feels designed with cost-efficiency as the primary driver rather than craftsmanship. It is a functional piece for sizing purposes, but it fails to deliver the sense of "accessible luxury" that the brand’s marketing suggests.
