Drawing inspiration from one of Mr. Lauren’s own sport coats, this season’s Preston retains its signature design elements, including a back vent, a throat latch, and lamb-suede elbow patches, but is updated in an engineered plaid fabric, which is specially developed in a centuries-old UK mill from a luxuriously rich blend of lambswool and cashmere. Continuing to explore Ralph Lauren’s dedication to highly considered details, this Italian-made style is accented with lambskin-covered buttons embossed with a horse-head motif, a nod to the Fall 2020 Collection’s equestrian-inspired aesthetic.
