I decided to exchange it for the next smaller size and am much happier. I wish I had a little more room in the shoulders, but the pockets are now in the right location on my body and I don't have a lot of extra fabric around the hips. I'm glad this worked because I love the color and fabric. I love the fabric. I can think of so many places and times to wear this. My issue is the fit. It fits like a linen shirt on top-not tight but slim. On the bottom, it's very full. For reference, I wear a lot of Eileen Fisher linen shirt dresses and they have a great, straight cut. I love a dress with pockets, but these pockets are very large and very low. I'm 5'9" with a long torso and the pockets hit me mid-thigh. I can't touch the bottom of them without bending over or pulling the fabric up. If I wear this without the belt, they create a strange "pouf" around the thigh area. If I wear with the self-belt or my own belt, I can arrange the fabric so it looks good in front, but then I have extra "pouf" in back. I'm curvy, so having a lot of extra fabric is not something I usually have to deal with.
