I found it to run large in the shoulders, and I have wide shoulders. Luckily, I ordered it in two different sizes and will keep the smaller of the two, a size 6. For reference. I am 5'7.5" and I weigh around 142 lbs. I needed a nice dark blue dress and this blue is a very dark shade of navy. The material drapes beautifully.
