The lighter wash is my favorite and I have purchased it in a smaller size than I wear now, in case I lose weight. I often wear them with Ralph Lauren western style boots and receive many compliments. In fact, a co-worker asked to take a photo of me wearing the jeans to show her daughter the style and fit. They are very flattering to a larger figure because the high waist and slightly wide-leg elongate the leg and create a flattering silhouette.
