Upon first appearance, the pants are extremely wide legged, light, and thin. The width of the pant leg actually makes my thighs appear larger which I don't need help with. The pants are light and thin, but they show your underwear no matter what style you wear. The fabric is so soft, it is not rough or scratchy like some linen fabrics. They fit true to size and the drawstring allows for you to adjust them slightly if needed. The legs are a bit wider than I had expected but they are very much on trend with the current style. They are quite long which allows for you to wear a taller heel with them. If you have longer legs they will fit you nicely, shorter legged people may need to have them altered or wear a heel with them.
