For reference - I’m 5’9” and about a 4/6. I went with a L for comfort (and length). The M probably would have been fine, but this size is extra cozy. The material is of a higher quality than expected. Top is plenty long enough and oversized in the perfect way. Pants are cropped about two inches above my ankles, but I’m tall and don’t mind. I want to say it was too big but then again the top was too short and the arms and legs were humongously long. I had to return them because I couldn’t swap them for another size.
