My previous review was a thumbs down for both size and quality. Well jt turns out it’s best to reference the size chart of the sweater rather than the size chart for the body. If you follow that chart, it’s true to size. Once I reviewed the sweater size chart and compared it to the Polo Bear Size chart and ordered accordingly, the size small sweater I. The American Flag style fits exactly the same as the XXS in the Polo Bear Style sweaters. Oddly, when a sweater fits right, the quality seems to improve — I know that’s not actually the case but it sure did feel like lesser quality of a sweater when the first size I purchased (the XXS) fit like it was painted on. I still feel the Polo Bear Sweaters are a tad better quality BUT I do absolutely love the flag sweater now that I have the correct size. It’s soft and might weight, perfect for a cooler Memorial Day and Independence Day evening on the water. This truly is a must have item for every wardrobe. The fit, the material… the sizing!!! I’m always an XXS in the Polo Bear Sweaters and will sometimes size up to an XS for an oversized fit. I ordered an XXS in this particular sweater and holy cow is it small in every direction! I had to double check to make sure I didn’t accidentally order a child’s sweater! I’m 5’3, 110 pounds with a C cup. I’m proportioned well with regards to length of legs and body. The body length of the sweater was well over my hips and hit right at my belly button — another reviewer has the same complaint. The body was skin tight, literally pasted on tight. The arm length was correct and the sleeves weren’t overly tight. I’m going to give this sweater another shot to see if sizing up two sizes will work. If a medium were in stock, I’d even consider going up three sizes to be honest. The material of the sweater is soft but it’s thin. Totally not the same quality as any of the Polo Bear Sweaters. I’d say it isn’t worth the price BUT we live in Baltimore on the Harbor where the huge USA 250 Birthday celebration will take place this summer. We have cool nights so I wanted an American flag sweater specifically for this big event.
