I tried these on at Macy’s and walked around the store and felt comfortable but that was the last pair and I wanted a new pair because those had been on the floor for sometime and already looked worn out. So I bought a brand new pair off the RL website. In my less than a mile walk to dinner, my ankles were bleeding from the ankle straps, and one of my toes. Since I wore them outside, I couldn’t return so I gave them another try after putting coconut oil and Vaseline on the leather to soften them up a bit. I also wore a bunch of bandages. Still hurt so much. I don’t know if it’s where the straps sit on my ankle or if the leather needs a lot of softening but these are a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.Date published: 2026-06-13
