They do run a bit narrow but I have narrow feet. If you don't have narrow feet they may be a bit snug. I wear a 9 so I bought the 9 and they are true to size (so don't size up). What I found to be the best solution for me was putting arch insoles to take the pressure off my high arches due to the heigt of the heel. Once I inserted those, I was able to wear these shoes for hours with no discomfort whatsoever. They are definitely classy.
